What are great week it has been! I don't know if it had quite the amount of stories as last week but it definitely was still a great week!
Last Monday we got to go to a glass shop. A member in our ward (local congregation) owns his own shop and blows glass! It was actually pretty cool getting to see him do all of it. It is amazing how glass, which seems so fragile, can be molded so easily, almost like it was rubber. Needless to say, it was cool to go see!
Monday through Friday was a little slow. Everyone that we usually meet with during the week was busy so we spent a lot of time trying to find people to teach and walk around. My feet got pretty sore but we just kept on going. But finally Saturday rolled around and we didn't have enough time in the day to go and do all the things we wanted to. Pretty much everyone wanted to meet with us Saturday night which got way crazy but it turned out to be a great day!
Sunday was great though! Derek finally got baptized! I still remember the first Sunday here in Buckhannon when Elder Fielding ran in before church and started to tell me we were setting Derek on date to be baptized. I was pretty shocked, but ever since then Derek has just grown and grown. He is such a great kid and it has been amazing to see how much he truly loves this gospel, especially knowing the Plan of Salvation! Having a knowledge of the plan our Heavenly Father has for us, and what our purpose is here in the life and what is going to happen to us after this life truly is a great blessing and brings so much peace, joy, and comfort.
I love you all so much! I hope you all have a great week!
